  29. Resolved Question: Can you give me definitions of political left and right?
  30. 26 Aug 2007 at 10:25pm
Without good definitions of political left and right, the people in any country are in a continuous fighting. We have this bad experience in my country: El Salvador. We had a civil war from 1972 to 1992. Today the country it is with a lot of violence. I think it is because the lack of knowledge about what is a right or left wind in politics. I define the terms in base of individual freedom. The 100% leftist government has 0% individual freedom, per example the countries of North Korea, Cuba where the state owns everything or countries with political systems as Communism, Nazism, Theocratic Muslims Ayatollahs in Iran or countries with dictators as Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Fidel, Chaves. The 60% leftist government has 40% individual freedom in countries as Singapore, Morocco, and Gambia. See the chart attached for other countries. 50.1%-60% Nigeria Malaysia Burundi Venezuela Zambia Malawi Comoros Guatemala

  37. Resolved Question: Why is Turkey still the only semi-reasonable Islamic nation?
  38. 30 May 2007 at 6:04pm
I was following a story out of Malaysia where a woman wanted to convert to Christianity and it had to go to court. I was hopeful that they would realize these Islamic apostasy laws are outdated and would give her a Christian identity card but yesterday they ruled she must remain Muslim and therefore cannot marry her longtime boyfriend. This is pathetic. I thought Jordan and Malaysia were supposed to be semi-secular but as I have studied both still don't allow conversions out of Islam. At least they don't execute apostates like Saudis, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sudan, Comoros, Nigeria, Somalia, and many other fundamentalist countries but this just pisses me off. Why should Christian nations allow such free speach and free thought for ideas that seek to enlave them and the world? Turkey remains the only sane place in the Muslim world because they look down on Islam and only see it as their heritage not their law. http://www.smh.com.au/news/World/Malaysian-Christian-convert-loses-battle/2007/05/30/ 1180205319085.html

  41. Resolved Question: Is Shariah Law good or not?
  42. 24 Apr 2007 at 3:56pm
The crime rates went down in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Mauritania, Comoros, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sudan and other places where the Shariah has been implemented but do the ends justify the means? The Hudud Punishments of the Shariah require that hands be cut off for theft and this has almost completely eliminated theft in Saudi Arabia. Alcohol and fornication is punished by 100 lashes. Adultery and Homosexuality is punished by death. Some of these things may be immoral to some people but getting the death penalty seems way to extreme. Would any of you allow yourself to be subjected to Islamic Law or is it too harsh? There is no Christian Law. It is a law of Grace. And Nunya how could it be implemented correctly. Killing only the right people?

  43. Resolved Question: Who told you there was a poverty problem in the USA?
  44. 26 Mar 2007 at 5:34pm
SOURCE CIA World Factbook, 22 August 2006 DEFINITION National estimates of the percentage of the population lying below the poverty line are based on surveys of sub-groups, with the results weighted by the number of people in each group.
