According to international media, North African nations without Asian links, such as Libya, Tunisia and Algeria, are increasingly being called North African. PAKISTAN, Afghanistan, and Iran are also increasingly listed as Middle Eastern countries. The Middle East is primarily arid and semi-arid, and can be subject to drought; nonetheless, there exists vast expanses of forests and fertile valleys. The region consists of grasslands, rangelands, deserts, and mountains; K2 in northern PAKISTAN rises 8611 meters above sea level to become the highest peak in the Middle East.[17]. (No, not Harvard, but Ivy League nonetheless.and I don't need "Mommy and Daddy's 'aid'. They gave me the push and opportunity, and I folliowed through, on my own) I new the same people would respond to an earlier question of mine re the Middle East and my Ivy League status. However, I appreciate YOUR answer also.

  43. Resolved Question: Arab world?
  44. 16 May 2008 at 4:03pm
I have visited the Morocco many a times and always I am suprised by the amount of fitna that there is in that country, this is same as Lebannon, Tunisa, Algeria, Syria, and all the Middle Eastern countries. The problem is the majority people wears revealing clothes and the females show off their bodies by wearing tight jeans, and very low tops. The Saudi men comes to Morocco to have sex with the Moroccan women. If you dont believe me then come to Agadir and see for yourself. This is the reason the non Muslims rule the Muslims in their own lands. England is the best country in the world.

Also, the literacy rate is fairly low which means they don't have very educateded people.

  51. Resolved Question: Axis and Allies board game question?
  52. 14 May 2008 at 3:21pm
Ok, I have a couple questions: 1. When a lone fight attacks a sea unit, do they both go on the battle board? Does the sea unit get any AA fire or defense? 2. Do you treat fighter as bombers? Meaning do they fly to a territory and get one die to roll once. An if there is no AA gun, then they get one free shot? Or do you put everything on the battle board? 3. When you move from a land adjacent to water to the water is it counted as one? So from Western US to sea zone 55 is one move? 4. Can UK forces bridge on a US transport? Or does that take two turns? 5. Are fighters just like ground units, except they move over land and sea? They are put on the battle board in every combat? 6. Is it legal to load a transport in sea zone 10 (Eastern US) and offload troops into Algeria all in one turn? 7. Do fighters defend when an enemy bomber attacks? 8. Can you explain a bomber in combat? More questions below: 9. can you give a situatin in which a bomber and fighter both attack a territory and what would happen? 10. If US planes attack a sea unit in a seazone,, does the defending sea unit get a defense? (If the attacking force consisted of fighters and bombers) 11. Can planes attack more than once in a turn? 12. PLEASE GIVE A LOT OF DETAIL ON FIGHTER AND BOMBERS AND HOW THEY EACH ATTACK AND DEFEND. Thank You

  61. Resolved Question: Should Jewish refugees be compensated for land and propert...
  62. 14 May 2008 at 4:56am
Aproximately 600,000 Jews sought refuge in the State of Israel. They arrived destitute, but they were absorbed into the society and became an integral part of the state. In effect, then, a vertible exchange of populations took place between Arab and Jewish refugees. Thus, the Jewish refugees from Arab countries (SYRIA EGYPT IRAQ MOROCCO YEMEN TUNISIA LIBYA ALGERIA) became full Israeli citizens whereas the Arab refugees who fled their homes in Palestine, remained ?refugees? unaided by the neighboring Arab countries. OR SHOULD THERE BE AN EVEN TRADE. ???? So you think you can sing too? l LOVED YOUR ANSWER Because the Roman made you refugees once 1500 years ago and so you fled to Egypt , Yemen and Russia , But now you are returning back home. YES, RETURNING BACK HOME, that's what it is all about !!! I come from there...and remember You have very limited knowledge of what was and what wasn't.

  75. Resolved Question: Are most Muslims "peaceful"?
  76. 11 May 2008 at 7:28pm
We live in a world of ignorance. Simple people babbling silly cliches, without even considering what the cliche means and whether its true. Almost all armed conflict worldwide is Islamic. Heres a partial list of some of the conflicts: Chechnya, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Somalia, Sudan and Dafur genocide, Chad, Philippines, Indonesia, Egypt, Kosovo, Bangladesh, Lebanon, Palestine, Tajikistan, Iraq, Algeria, Southern India, Kashmir, etc.. Alone, 911 was just a tiny drop in the sea of Jihadist war and terror. Millions of Muslims are at war right now...at war because of their belief in the duty of "Jihad", a war doctrine only found in Islam...no other religion. Do you know a "peaceful" muslim? If you think you do...what makes him/her peaceful? The fact that they dont have a knife to your throat at this very second? Most violent criminals in SuperMAX prison are "peaceful"...arent they? They arent in a position to hurt anyone, so they must be peaceful...yes? Same logic..right? PEW POLL data consistently shows that MOST MUSLIMS SUPPORT BIN LADENS VISION OF JIHAD. Is that peaceful? There is no Muslim army in the world that is capable of taking on the powers of the world, so Muslims cant assert Jihad using land armies...does that make them peaceful now? When they had strong armies, they forced Islam on everyone they could, full bore...never ever stopped.

  79. Resolved Question: Overpopulation quiz?
  80. 10 May 2008 at 4:25am
Everyone hears about overpopulation in the third world. Here's a quiz. Following is an alphabetical list of 26 countries - all with population over 20 million. Only one country in this list has a total fertility rate of 2.1 children per woman in 2008. The other 25 countries have a lower fertility rate so they will eventually lose population without immigration. I emphasize "eventually" because it will take a while for the current people to die. Which country is it? Algeria Argentina Australia Brazil Burma Canada China France Germany Iran Italy Japan Korea, North Korea, South Poland Romania Russia Spain Sri Lanka Taiwan Thailand Turkey Ukraine United Kingdom United States Vietnam The quiz is based on the US Census Bureau International Data Base (IDB) which offers a variety of demographic indicators for 226 countries and areas of the world. You can guess the answer or you can look it up. Be forewarned that the Data Base is not easy to use. These 26 countries add up to 46% of the world population. Read the question carefully. You must select a country from the list.
